Rev. Dale Benson

EDUCATION AND ENLIGHTENMENT

Rev. Dale Benson has been a Chaplain for 5 years, and is an ordained Baptist minister, who is also completing ordination in the United Church of Christ. He is the founder of Liberating MENistry which seeks to hold spaces for men to reimagine their relationship to themselves and how they relate to others. Rev. Dale is a Spiritual Life Coach, preacher, teacher, facilitator, and avid reader and writer. He intentionally centers his role as the father of a energetic 5 year old named Malik.
Rev. Dale has a B.A in Liberal Studies/Religion from Greensboro College. He has a Master of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary, during this time he also studied a year at Howard Divinity School. He also completed a Master of Theology (Th.M) at Duke University Divinity School. He will begin a D.Min at Hood Theological Seminary in the fall focusing on Pastoral Theology and Counseling.
He enjoys reading, writing, traveling internationally, fishing, and tries to keep up with his son.
