A WHOLISTIC faith experience! Church REVISITED

WHY WE EXIST

There are some of us that believe in a wholistic way to do faith. We would attend our traditional faith services and realize that was not enough. A wholistic faith surpasses religion. A wholistic faith is inter-spiritual. It embraces and challenges tradition. A wholistic faith is personal, communal, and spiritually intimate. A wholistic faith encounters mind, body, and spirit. This is a space that is culturally relevant and meets the needs and desires of our faith paths.

FAITH STATEMENT

The people of Wholy Ground Spiritual Center are called to share God’s love as we minister to and with all persons in the community providing worship, nurture, fellowship, and service. Our welcome knows no boundaries of age, race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, economic condition, physical, or mental ability. We embrace and seek to preserve the beautiful and amazing diversity of God’s creation.

MISSION

Wholy Ground is a inter-spiritual community rooted in advocacy, compassion, education, and service designed to enhance our connection with the Divine, ourselves, and all humankind.

VISION

Wholy Ground Spiritual Center is a culturally relevant space that meets the needs and desires of various faith paths. We are a sacred place for those in need of healing and hope no matter where you are on life’s journey.

Wholy Ground seeks to create a wide place where faith that expresses compassion, service, and hope is welcome. These include, but are not limited to, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism,Islam, Hinduism, Bahaism, African Religious Traditions, and Humanism principles.

We are a creative intergenerational place where children, young adults, adults, and our seasoned persons can eagerly learn from and teach one another.

We are an affirming place where varied ethnic groups and capabilities, genders and sexual identities, social and economic groups gather in peace as we break down stereotypes.

As sacred siblings born to the Divine, we practice radically inclusive love that proclaims and builds up the “kin-dom of God.”
